Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mops are getting more powerful. They pass our tests on cleaning and can take care of a variety of flooring. Look for models that let you choose from multiple modes, use their charging docks to self-empty and clean up stairs.
A lot of the top models integrate with your smartphone. Look for an application that lets you save maps, schedules, and select cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
Eufy's gunmetal-and-gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos available on the market. It uses lidar for navigation, creating maps of rooms and floors.
When I tested the S1 It was quick to identify our downstairs, which has Linoleum flooring in the kitchen/dining room and bathrooms, plus medium-pile carpeting and a large area rug. It was able to drive right up to walls without colliding with them, and even managed to drive across thresholds for rooms that are raised without problem, although it sometimes had trouble navigating down stairs in a single pass. The S1 also did an excellent job cleaning hard floors by dragging its mop smoothly on its flat side against the floor, and then lifting its own weight when it reaches carpet or rugs.
After every mopping session, the docking station on the S1 automatically emptys its dust bin and refills its water tank with clean ozonated filtered water. The dock also provides a deep-cleaning solution for the water. The S1 water tank is able to hold up to 12 cleaning sessions, but it will differ based on how often you use the mop.
Like all 2-in-1 robots the S1 requires periodic maintenance to keep it working well. You'll need to periodically rinse out the tank that has been contaminated to prevent it from becoming clogged. It is also necessary to clean the swivel wheel and sensors regularly to keep them from getting clogged by dirt or dust. Overall, the S1 is simple to maintain, particularly compared to other combos that require more hands-on maintenance.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
This all-in-one robotic mop and vacuum from Ecovacs is a powerful option to meet your cleaning requirements. The Ecovacs robot vacuum comes with 8700Pa suction power, and comes with a variety of advanced features like voice control and smart path scheduling that cleans furniture and eliminates obstacles. Its mopping capability is impressive. Rotating mop pads actually lift floors and scrub it, rather than simply dragging a pad across the surface. Mops can also be cleaned and dried at the base station when required.

Its navigation capabilities are robust, however it is sometimes hung in the small area mats or rugs that I have in my home (which is something you can control by creating a virtual border in the app). Its mopping is quite good as well, with a pair of spinning mops that actually lift and scrub floors instead of just dragging the pad over it. The mops are also cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station when needed. The mops are also filled at the top of the station when required.
3. Dreame X40 Ultra
Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was launched earlier this year. But their new flagship model comes with even more impressive features. It has outstanding cleaning performance and hands-off maintenance, making it a clear contender for our top mop and robot vacuum list. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a longer side brush ensure a thorough, custom-designed clean.
The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, picking up large and fine particles from hard floors as well as carpets. It was able to clean the dirtiest areas of our tests with ease, avoiding pet hairs and other messes. The sweeping performance is augmented by a side brush that moves out to tackle difficult-to-reach corners, and an extending mop pad that is placed along baseboards.
Its navigation system is intelligent it can navigate tight spaces and negotiating stairs without missing a beat. It can go from one room to the next without having to change direction. This is a great feature for large homes with multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is not as advanced than the ones of other competitors and leaves a wide space between obstacles. This can lead to missed spots.
The interface of the app is easy to use and easy to use. It should be easy to use for novice and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and manage cleanings, adjust mopping and suction power settings, view 2D and 3D maps, and more. It can be controlled via the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can also use the X40 Ultra's camera remotely to get live video surveillance. You will require a reliable internet connection to access the app and external controls.

The Q5 is an unadorned version of the company's expensive S-series models, which include the flagship Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It is equipped with the same LIDAR mapping sensors, but it's less expensive because it doesn't come with mopping capabilities, and also has a plastic body.
Despite losing the ability to clean your floors, the Q5 still has some of the best mopping and vacuum performance we've seen from a robotic in this price range. It has a suction power of 5500Pa and an auto-empty system, so you don't have to empty the bin manually each time. It comes with a smart application which allows you to schedule cleaning times and choose the floor type. It also comes with an automatic water tank filling system and washing system that is hands-free.
Its mops are also awe-inspiring, with 2700Pa of power to tackle dust, dirt and pet hair on hard floors and carpets. The Q5 was among the few robots we tested that did not have a problem with high-pile area rugs and carpets. However, it did not handle kitty litter or cable tangles. This isn't surprising, since it does NOT contain AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is the quietest robot vacuum we've ever tested. It also uses a unique mapping system that allows it to reach tight spaces and corners that other vacuums can't. The device also stores dust in a larger dustbin which means you need to empty it less often. Additionally, it has washable filters, which reduces the costs associated with using the device. The robot is also able to detect carpets and increase suction when needed. The app also lets you to mark areas that you want it to avoid, which is a nice feature.
